That limit is imposed by the mail server, not Outlook.

There should be a shorter way in creating a mailing list then using MS Word.  
You should be able to use a group category that you have set up in Outlook -
example "Christmas List of addresses" .  In Outlook, you should be able to
select your define group and print a list of ...
