In my Address Book, the display name of one of my contacts is mangled. Even
though in the detail view the Display Name is "ABC Media, Inc.", the Display
Name in the list view is "ABC Media@+1" and then thef fax number. Where is
Outlook getting this from, and how can I fix it?

How do you synchronize two contact folders so that they share the same
information.

Anyone know of a way to syncronize the Contacts List between two computers?
I don't want to merger the two lists, that would create massive amounts of
duplicate entries, just add the missing entries from each List to the other.

When I need to send a mail and start typing the e-mail id in the To/ CC/ BCC
coloumn, it doesnt show a drop down list of addresses starting with that
alphabet to whom mails have been sent.  how can i enable that feature?

How do I use my Outlook Contacts to create a database file in Excel?  I am
using Office PRO 2003.

It's easy to link this table in Access, however, I want to search and sort on
the "Categories" field. When I export the information from within Outlook
this field is present. When I link to the table in Access it is not. What am
I missing?

Whenever I try to insert a contact in an email (insert--object) I get an
error that the "object could not be found". I deleted the frmcache.dat, but
that did not seem to resolve the issue. Any ideas?

I have been using OE on my 3 computers (OS Win XP, Win 98 and Win 95) and
have now swapped to Outlook.  Can anyone tell me how to merge the 3 separate
OE address books to form one in Outlook?

I use MAC's and PC's - I use MS Outlook on the PCs and MS Entourage on the
MACs.   I use the exact same contacts.  How do I transfer the files back and
forth between the two computer systems.  I understand how to do this on PCs
when I copy the files from one PC to another but ...

I'm trying to export a contact database to a file in order to email to
another computer for use elsewhere.  The problem is that my user defined
fields are never saved.  I can't figure out how this might be done. Any help

I am unable to use a contact folder as an address book.  I have installed the
Outlook Address Book service (and closed and restarted Outlook), but the
properties of the contact folder stilll do not allow the selection of it as
an email address book...that checkbox is still greyed ...

I have been told that it is possible to transfer all of my act data into my
microsoft outlook address book.  Can you tell me how to do this?
