The area code rules do not support the new Split Area Codes that have evolved
recently, where part of an area code is local, and other part of an area code
requires a +1.  This design causes all calls to an area code to either dial
+1 when only part of an area code requires it.  ...

My phone dialer will not add a "1" before toll free numbers (800, 866 and
888).  I had no problem doing this out of Outlook 97.  I've applied the
dialing rules but the only way I can dial these numbers is to actually put a
"1" there in every contact that has a toll free number.

Don't want contacts in mail address book to automatically go to c.03 Dec 2004 22:09 GMT1
The contacts that are in my mail address book automatically are added to my
contacts in Outlook so that all I have on that contact is the email address.
I want to stop those names from going to the contacts. How do I stop that?
File As not staying in default format when importing03 Dec 2004 22:03 GMT1
We are importing contacts from a .csv file (into Outlook 2003).  We have the
folder default "File as" set to First Last.  But after importing, the new
contacts are filed as Last, First.  Any ideas why this is happening?
