from excel I saved my file as .cvs and also defined a name for it and
imported to outlook contact folder. The columns fist name , last name imports
fine but the two fields that I created and there is no match for it in
outlook won't import. can someone give me some tips please ...

A window pops up and tells me that "the account you have added is not fully
configured. It may not work properly until you reconfigure it"

Using Outlook 2000 SP-3, I created a Contacts subfolder 'test'.  When sending
mail, I enter the first few letters of the recipients email address, press
‘ctrl-k’ and ‘send’ once the address is found.  If my recipients email is in

Forgot to back up contacts/address book in Outlook before I installed XP
Professional and Office 2003. In other words, I scrubbed the hard drive.   Is
there anyway to retrieve them from the C drive?

I permanently deleted (shift delete) one of my big distribution lists of
email addresses.  Is there any way at all to recover that?  Please help.

I am using Outlook 2003 SP1 and cannot add my Contact items to my Address
Book. If I right click the Contact folder and choose Properties, I then see
that the Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book is grayed out with the
check box unchecked.  Nothing I can think of will allow ...

hi.  I've tried now (without luck) to print all of my Outlook contacts as
Avery Labels, I was able to format only one label; could someone tell me how
to format all the contacts as labels?

field formatting seems to be non-existent.

I've set up 3 user-defined date fields in Contacts with the birthdays of the
contact's partner and children. The pre-defined date fields of Birthday and
Anniversary display a reminder in my Calendar, but not the user-defined date
fields.

When I send .vcf to others any information that has been saved in journal
entries is also transferred with .vcf

ZeroDegrees, LinkedIn and Plaxo have created several duplicate Contact
folders in my Outlook 2000.
I want to be able to search through all of these folders and eliminate
duplicate or old contact information.

I'm tryning to sync my contacts (including sub-folders) into a Dell Axim and
only the contacts that are in the actual "contacts" folder get imported into
the pocket pc.  None of the contacts in any of the sub-folders get imported
(or synced)

shall i share my mail folder?
