Using an Exchange Server, How do I import and add new contacts into Global
Contacts.

I have a problem with a contacts folder not exposing its AddressEntries
to a VB6 COM Add-In (Outlook: 9.0.0.2711, CDO: 1.2.1, Win2k).
The Add-In sends messages/documents to email/fax/SMS etc. For this to
happen, the user first selects specific contact items in a contacts

I have my contacts in work and at home stored in MS Outlook.
Since I cannot install any 3rd party software at work or connect to my home
PC I have kept the two contact databases up-to-date by only ever updating my
work copy.

I have discontinued my AOL account and wish to import my address book into
Microsoft Outlook.  Does anyone know any way to accomplish this?????

boss wants all of his contacts added to Outlook so when he travels that info
will be with him at all times.  He also wants all of these contacts available

When I start typing e-mail adress it's outomaticaly suggesting me the
variants, which i entered before. How do I clear the history?

We want to implement a public contacts folder in Outlook for our client
information.  We want to add a field for the Type of Contact (Existing
Client, Prospective Client, etc) and how often there should be a follow up
(Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, etc).

I want to replace FL in the address block with Florida as an exhample..

We have our internal Global Address Book and a second Contacts list that has
everyone's personal information, Blackberry PIN numbers, etc. that we use
for synching with the Blackberries.

We have Outlook 2002 and one of my users sent a Vcard to someone outside the
firm.  This person says he also has Outlook.  Is there a reason that this
person says he can't open it?  I can't really troubleshoot with the other

We were able to find instructions for how to migrate categories in Outlook
2000 in the KB, but just got new computers with 2003 and find that the
registry entry is in binary and these instructions no longer apply. What is

I am trying to translate an excel address database into Outlook.  I created a
template by exporting Outlook Contacts to Excel file and copying my fields
into those corresponding to Outlook.  When I tried to inport the data, it
only took the first two rows of data and not the next ...
