I have swapped from express to outlook and there are lots of duplcate email addresses, not all under the same name, in the contacts book - no phone etc.. To remove each one individually is a real pain. An obvious way would be to sort by email address but I cannot find a way to ...

I have a few hundred contacts in Outlook, but when I click on the "TO" button when writing an email, a very small subset of those contacts appear...where are the rest of them?

I'm upgrading my Office 2000 to 2003 this weekend and I know that my Outlook Contacts and other Office data is all in one big file. Trouble is, I can't remember the file extension. Is it .pst for Office 2000, please?

We have recently installed Outlook 2003 and are unable to have our public contacts in the contacts navigation pane. In effect what I would like is that if I open my contacts in the navigation pane, then I should have my personal contacts and also the public contacts

I have my contacts in Outlook 2000 on a laptop which is getting replaced. I need to copy all my contacts over onto my new pc. Problem is a timing issue. I really need to know if I can copy onto a cd ? In what file format ? or has anyone else got a better idea.

Prior to swithching to Outlook, when I had Outlook express I would type the first few letters of a person's name and express would finish the rest. Since I have installed Outlook I cannot find out how to turn on the auto-type function.
