Some numbers in several area codes are long distance from me and require a

I am trying to add new fields on my contact card but am unable to apply those
new fields to ALL the contacts.  How do I apply them to all the contacts and
how to I make those new changes default whenever I need to add a new contact?

how to do it… Can I do it for other users or do they have to do it
themselves?  I’m not even sure how I got mine to work! For crying out loud :)
