I'm running Outlook 2003 SP! on an XP pro. It's a stand-alone install (no exhange) I have entered new contacts, but they disappearerd. I can't say when, but two contacts I added yesterday are no longer in my contacts

When entering a new contact, wherever I need to put in a phone number I have to put in the ( ) and then the spaces and then the dash to get (555) 555-5555. Is there any way to set a default telephone format? Thanks!
