Hi, I've looked all over but I can't find out how to access my contacts in
Outlook 2003 when using trying to fax using a fax modem (I am not using a fax
service).  My address book (which is used in Outlook Express but not Outlook)
shows up but not my Contacts from Outlook.

As far as I know, the only thing I did was download some required office
downloads.  I go to get my emai and everything is wiped out.  my old emails,
my address book.  I needed that. How do I get it back?  

I had to re-install Outlook and now there is no info in the Address Book.  
How can I import/copy the company address book into this Outlook?  I have not
been able to find the Address Book file.

auto correct doesn't seem to work when entering info in contacts, is there
any way to turn it on?

I have run into lots of problems in the office due to virusus coming in. Is
there a way in Outlook to set up some type of rule to restrict all e-mails to
be automatically deleted unless it is part of the contact list. Please if you
have any suggestions inform me.

By default, the Show field under the Contact Activities tab is set to Journal
(I don’t remember how I set this. It was many years ago), when I change the
field to anything other than Journal, it display shows blank. Even if I
select all activities.

Once I "Find" a group of contacts, is there any way I can change or fill one
of the fields inside the contact record to all of the same value?
Example, Fill "User Field 1" with "Customer".

Hi, I just cleaned up my contacts, then selected the hotsync button to change
to desktop overwites handheld and syncd.  Now all those names are back in and
I have to delete them again in the desktop.  I don't know why the desktop
didn't overwrite the handheld but it didn't.  ...

This is a weird one:
After a year of problem free syncing with Activesync 3.7, suddenly a number
of Contacts (some 10%) fail to sync with an "unresolved" error. A long &
painful process of elimination suggests that this is a problem with Contacts

How can I set Outlook to automaticaly add e-email addresses to my contact
lists, when I recieve an e-mail?

How do I share all my contacts or some of my contact with someone else? Is
there a way to send them to someone?

Someone sent me a distribution list with 23 names and valid e-mails.  I added
it to my Contacts using 'drag & drop'.  I can see it the DL in my Contacts
list and when I select it all 23 recipients are in it.
I started a new e-mail and used To: to select the DL and when I e-mailed ...

My Contacts are set up correctly in Last Name/First Name format.
HOWEVER, when creating a new mail message in the "Select Names" window there
are a FEW names that do NOT appear with Last Name, First Name format  
(Example:  Jones, Art)...although they are correct in the "Contacts" ...

What is the workaround for adding many e-mail addresses, that are not also
contacts, to a distribution list?
