Apologies if this is a frequently-asked question...
I need to import a set of contacts from an Excel 2003 spreadsheet into a
public contacts folder viewed through Outlook 2003.
From a cursory search through Google, it looks as if this isn't possible

I have a Nokia 9500 Communicator phone. When I Synchronise it with Outlook on
my PC, using Nokia PC Suite, the country code and area code, as is entered in
Outlook, is also transferred to the phone with the phone numbers. This is

Outlook 2003 saves the e-mail addresses of every person to whom I send an
e-mail or from whom I receive an e-mail.  Is there a way to set my options
not to save all of these addresses?  I keep my Contacts up to date, and I
don't want all these other addresses.  Thanks.

I recently installed the business contact manager option but have not yet
used this facility.
When I want to send a mail I previously only had to start typing and a name
list appeared so that I could choose the name.  This was the autocomplete

When deleting a contact, it keeps poping up when typing similar name or if
contact person has changed email address.  For instance, when typing my
wife's name, her prior email address from prior jobs keep poping up.  I
CANNOT stand it anymore.  I deleted them a long time ago and ...

I have deleted an email address from my contacts list and replaced it with a  
new one, but when i send emails to that contact, outlook still inserts the
old address.
How can i permanently delete the old address?

When I logged on this morning, my Contacts folder was empty.  Also, none of
the appointments I had in Calendar were gone.  Has this happened to anyone
else?  My e-mail is working fine.   I use Outlook 2003.  Thanks, John

But: we are trying to configure Outlook so that we can send emails to a
"distribution list" in Outlook, but in such a way as to "hide" all the names
and email addresses from all recipients.
