I would like to know how to set outlookto recieve mail when you open outlook

Hi! I'd really appreciate some help with what, I suspect, is a simple question:
How do I count filtered contacts?
When the contacts are unfiltered - i.e. the whole of the contact list is
displayed - it says in the grey information bar (at the bottom) 292 items.

When I try to send emails to people in my personal address book, I
immediately receive a message:  "none of you email accounts could send to
this recipient."  Did I enter names in this address book incorrectly and how
do I correct this?

Hi, I've entered a contact into my address book correctly and I can see them
there but when I start a new email message and hit the address book icon to
insert this contact, they do not appear in the list.  Please help, it is
driving me insane!

I would like to be able to delete a name, when you are typing an email and it
auto fills in.  I have tried to let if fill and then delete but it keeps
popping back.
Please advise

I just figured out that I have been accidentally deleting my Contacts and
cannot find anyway to stop that. Is there no way to set it up to confirm
delete for Contacts?

I am trying to import some contacts from an Outlook 2003 .pst file into my XP
Professional Outlook 2002.  The message I get when doing this is  -
     The (file name) is not compatible with this version of the Personal
Folders

I know I can use outlook/office to make outgoing calls, can I use it to
recieve incoming calls?  I'd like to replace my vonage, especially if this
service is included in the software.  

I am trying to export my outlook contact list from my computer and import
them on another office computer.  we do have the same outlook program.

have added all the people in my address book to one Distribution List (DL)
and named it  "Friends".. When I receive an e-mail from someone in my list ie

When I create a new contact and say Save, the contact is automaitcally stored
in Mailbox contacts but I would like them to be stored in Personal Folders
Contacts.

I'm trying to import contact info from an excel spreadsheet to outlook
contacts. There are 215 contacts, but it will only import 86 of them. I can't
figure out why. I've searched microsoft help, but I'm not able to locate any
answers. HELP!

I use Outlook 2003 on a business latop which is connected to en exchange
server. So, when I create a new email and click on the 'TO' button I would
expect to get a choice of two address books, the Global Adress List and my
private contacts.
