Having reinstalled office 2003 on my new computer, i have been able to retrieve all of my old emails from Outlook. I can't connect to my old address book though.Can I build a contacts list automatically from all the old mail in my inbox?

In our organization we are having an address book in Public Folders. This address book has to be used by a lot of different people. To find this addresses automatically the option "show this folder as an e-mail address book" has to be signed on.

When I try to save a new contact or a new appointment, I get an error message which says: "Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid." I have not had this problem previously. Any ideas on how to correct would be appreciated.
