When trying to perform a mail merge from Outlook contacts for labels, the
"Contact List Folder" doesn't show the Contacts folder I want to export from.

I have moved to outlook from another contact management program.  I have just
sent my Christmas cards to a group of 350 contacts.  Now I want to do a
global edit for that group adding the note that they were sent the card.  
Where do I find that feature in Outlook?  I'm assuming ...

I want to send group email, where 20 people are getting the same email.
I dont want the people that get the email to see who is getting the
email. Is this possible?

After my drive crashed, I re-installed Outlook 2000 and restored my Outlook
data. Now there are no activities listed under the contact's activies tab,
not even current ones. I.e. no links to appointments, emails, etc. Any ideas?

Where can I find information about modifying the activities tab of a contact
folder's properties dialog box. In the activites tab, if you modify the
folder settings for Contacts, what does that do ?

Whenever I try to compose and email and select the "To" button to access my
contacts, I get an error msg saying my address list cannot be displayed. I
hit "ok" and the box where I would normally select my contact names pops up
empty.  However, where it says "Show Names from the:" ...

Our Company Contact List has over 1200 entries. I would like to merge 2
distribution lists (both conatining approx. 500 contacts) into a new
distribution list, but then go back through a remove a few contacts here and
there from the new merged DL. Can this be done? Why can't we ...

Does anyone know how to search Contacts for a phone number?  I can search for
text with no problems.

I've upgraded a user from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003.
I've imported her pst file to the correct location.
Everything looks fine - Except her Distribution lists.
If you change a contact's email address it does not update the distribution

My contacts are displaying email addresses instaed of the names from my
contact list.  How do I display my contacts names instead of there email
addresses.  This didn't start happening until I upgraded my outlook when I
installed ActiveSync 4.0 for my Dell Axim X51v.

I have outlook 2002 sp3. For some reason my contact phone numbers do no
auto format anymore, nor does the phone number details box come up whe
I click on the details button. Any suggestions

I am setting up a new computer and have Outlook 2003 on this one and Outlook
2002 on the old. I was able to copy the contacts to the new Outlook, but the
email addresses are not there. Every time I want to send an email, I have to
go back to the old computer. Please help!

Hi - we're new users to Outlook 2003 via Exchange Server on SBS 2003.
Our shared contacts are in a folder under 'All Public Folders'. In the Activities tab, I have added Calendars & Tasks folders separately for each of our 7 staff but I can't
add one "all Items" folder to include ...

I am using Outlook 2002 and when one of my users e-mails his wife she can add
him to her contacts and then she can click on activities and view all of his
e-mails even if she was not part of that e-mail. She also said that she can
view his calendar. We do not have his e-mail ...

I recently changed PC's and was able to export my Outlook file from my
old PC and import it fine into my new Outlook.  My contacts are all
here right where they should be with e-mail address, etc.
