IMPORT ADDITIONAL DATA FROM EXCEL TO OUTLOOK CONTACTS08 Jan 2006 04:23 GMT1
I wanted to add new contacts at my outlook so i exported the contacts to an
excel file. Then i added new data in each field and tried to import them back
to outlook.
The new data does not show up.

Outlook 2003.  After having read some other posts I am only more confused.  
No one post answers the questions I have.  I wish to reword my questions.
1.  How may I edit the default contact form?  I see that I cannot edit the
General tab, but can edit the Detail tab?

I am using Outlook 2003 sp2. I had to change to a new computer and moved all
my files over. The only issue I am having is if I go to an email and click on
properties for the address and click Contcts (to add it to my contacts) I get
an error saying "Some names could not be added ...

Recently had to format hd...reloaed MS 2000 Pro., MS Office 2003 with
Outlook sp1.  Saved all emial and addresses and restored all back to
where they were before the formating all except my contat list.  
When I want to put an email address into an emial  I click on the To:

I am transferring a pst file from an old computer to a new computer.
I've noticed that in the new computer, I receive the "Can't Open thi

I've read some past posts, but none seem to resolve the problem. I just
upgraded from a full version of OL2000 to OL2003.  Now, I can no longer
use a contact's nickname in the "To" field. I did this daily in OL2000,
despite Russ' disbelief that this function never existed.

I have used a pst file on a seperate machine to update the contacts and
i can not get the outlook installation to recognise these contacts when
sending email. For example i have joe bloggs as a contact with an email

I'm trying to export my Outlook 2003 contact and emails to a new computer.  
On the File menu, there is no option for Import / Export.  I don't understand
