How do you hide blank fields in outlook contacts26 Jan 2006 23:06 GMT2
I inadvertantly clicked "show blank fields" in my office contacts. I would
like to go back and show only fields with information. How do I do that?

I have a user who has Editor status as someone's delegate but she can't
create contacts.  While viewing their Contact folder, she creates a new
contact and we see it appear in the list, then disappear.  If we search, it
isn't found.

I have synchronised my Nokia 6680 to my PC. The Outlook contacts are updated

I copied my old email info from Incredimail (not a good program to deal with)
etc. into a file on my desktpo. I came thru as Excel. I thought I got it into
my Outlook contact list but some items got lost. Now I can not find my ".pab"

When I synch my Treo, a dialog box BRIEFLY pops up warning me that a program
is trying to access my email addresses (see www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm -
which is way too technical for me) and when I try to click "no", it repels my
cursor and then disappears.  I suspect a hijacker ...

After converting from outlook 2000 to 2002 when I try to email from my
contacts list people who have an email address 1 , 2, and 3 use to show as  
there name and email 1, 2, 3 after there name.  It now shows just there name.

We recently upgraded from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. Public folder
contacts we moved via a PST file.
Couple of problems/questions
1) How in Exchange 2003 can we change the public contacts to use a new

I have these blanks at the beginning of my Contacts folder ... and when you
click on the blank it turns out to be a deleted task.  Why are they there and
how can I prevent them from forming?  I delete them and then soon they start
to appear again.

I have an interesting problem that a user came to me with. She is using
Outlook 2003 and her contacts are empty. However, If I open up the
address book in Outlook there are 2 that I can choose from that have
all of her information. Now, since the Address Book in Outlook is just

When Outlook adds the International dialling code +44 to UK phone numbers, it
does not remove the zero from the STD (area) code.  This makes the number
invalid so it cannot be used for dialling.  How do I fix this?  It also
applies to other European numbers.

How can I copy addresses from one contact list to another contact without
retyping all the information?  Both would be in the same version of Outlook
2003, Windows XP, with all available updates.
