I recently went through the process of transferring all my data from a
failing hard drive onto a new one.  Everything went smoothly for the
most part, except that during the process I got an error message saying
that my windows profile got corrupted.  I found out how to troubleshoot

I want to list and view my contacts by 'surname, first name'.   No matter
what I do,
they're all mixed up, some with 'first name surname', 'surname first name'
(no comma), etc.

1.    How do I create a Dropdown List and add the values?
2.    Can I make fields “mandatory” and how?  (Basically I want certain fields

I am trying to import contact data from Excel to Outlook.  Records are
arranged in Rows, with column headings for Name, Email etc, but when it
imports it is importing each individual data field as a separate contact.

I moved my outlook account from my desktop to my laptop.  Both were running
Windows XP/Outlook 2003.  I used Save My Settings Wizard as suggested.  
Outlook is working fine, but I cannot find my contacts.  They seem to be

Outlook 2003 on an Exchange Server (Rented space from 1and1.com).  
I use the "Find a Contact" in the Type a contact to find box on the standard
toolbar.  (The little white box where you can type a name to open the contact
without going to the contact).

I cannot find either an excel file type nor a CSV file type in the "import a
file" window.  I therefore am unable to import an excel file with contact
data.
How do I get the list to include csv or xls file types to select for import?
