When viewing my contacts in a list such as by-ctegory, some of the address
card icons have tiny clocks on them.  Why is that and where can I find a list
of descriptions for icons?

Tried to import 90 contacts from Excel and didn't highlight just the ones I
needed but clicked on the column to name them.  Ended up with over 300,000
blank contacts which has now frozen Outlook.  Of course I didn't back it up
before importing because that would have been too ...

I installed Outlook 2003 on a new computer and copied my 2000 pst file over.

Outlook opens and I see my email and contacts. Except that I see 5 instances

I have tried going to existing oab and it shows , I still can't get my
contacts to show in my address book. Is there a limit to the number of
contacts in the oab

Open a contact and have a button that when checked, plots the contacts
location on a MS streets & trips map. I'd export the Contacts primary phone
number too.

I am entering a lot of new contacts from which I will create distribution
lists. After entering the contact, I select the 'save and new' function and
it does not work, a dialog box appears which states 'a dialog box is open,
close it and try again'. The only other dialog box open ...

Is there a way to rename the Global Address List? So that when users open up
the address list in Outlook see something like "XYZ Company Address LIst" and
not get confused by "Global" list?

System: Running Outlook from Office XP on Windows 2000.
When I go to a new email message and click the "To" to bring up the
address book, there are several duplicates of the same contact listed.
These do not occur in the regular contacts folder.

completed forms from our webiste are emailed to us and are not "from"
anybody, so there is no "from" email.  Is there any easy/quick way to add
email addresses to your contacts from the body of a message using outlook
2003??  Thanks!

My husband is going to leave AOL.  Finally!!  Yippee!!
I can see that the AOL "Intellisync" utility is one way for him to
export his AOL address book to Outlook Express.  However, once he
establishes his new email address and sets up an account for it in OE,

All of a sudden, when entering contact names, the first and last are reversed
in the end product. ie I enter John Doe and show Doe John in my Contact list
(no commas). Re-entries have no effect; delete and start over, likewise.

I just want to create a simple fax cover sheet from outlook (where my contact
info is stored) Be able to print it and fax it. Maybe even have outlook show
me that I did print a fax for this contact.

I recently had to reinstall Windows and install a new hard dirve.  The
problematic hard drive is still installed as a slave, I plan to remove it as
soon as I get the last of the data migrated to the new drive with the clean
install.  The new installation of windows is the XP Pro, ...

I have upgraded a client from a peer-to-peer network to aSBS 2003 network. On
two machines (XP Pro SP2) and on one machine (Windows 2000 Pro with latest
SP) these is no .pst file. On the XP Pro machines in the following directory
-- C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application ...

On Exchange server I have Public Folder that has folder that contains
contacts. Is it posible to make that folder with contacts avaible off
line? If yes, how? If now, then how can I have group folder with
contacts that is avaible off line?
