I'm using Outlook 2003 with an Exchange 2003 server (no .pst file) and
have about 20 contacts subfolders. Whenever I setup Outlook on a new
computer I have to manually do properties on each contacts subfolder
and check the box for "Show this folder as an e-mail address book"

I have read where this still doesn't work with 2003, but that brings me
to two questions.
1. Why does look-up contact work?
2. Can you change look-up contact to search by name instead of email

I have a large distribution list contained in a private folder in Outlook
2003. I am trying to copy the list into the Contacts in the Public Folders.
Upon trying to copy the list over I get an error message saying: 'Can't copy
the items. Out of memory or system resources. Close ...

Ok, is there a limit to Dlist's in Exhcnage 2003 or outlook 2003 ? If its a
public folder address book what is that limit ?

After reinstalling Windows XP Pro + SP2, and Office XP + SP3 on a reformatted
drive, I imported the previously working copy of contacts.pst into Outlook,
where it resides in c:\documents and settings\[name]\local

Is there a way to put vertical lines between outlook contact columns?  To add
a color background to the contact display?

I have several contacts which I want to syncronize from my own Outlook
to public folders. I only want to sync contacts in specified
categories, since several of my own contacts (private) shouldnt be
distributed.

how to export file in user defined fields to anything that works?

I am trying to send a mass e-mail and I do not want those who receive it to
see everyone's name - for privacy sake.  Does anyone know how to do this
without sending 50+ e-mails to individuals?  I don't seem to have a Bcc
option.  Any help would be appreciated.  

Hello, after upgrading to Office 2003 I noticed that the Contacts folder is
empty. Yet the Personal Address Book has been added. If I go into the Address
Book I see all the personal contacts under the Personal Address Book, but
nothing under Contacts. I also have the option "show ...

I have inserted my picture and notes in my company contact record. But when I
forward that record as a vcard, neither the picture nor notes appear on the
receiver's end when they open my vcard. Is there any way to do this?

I've upgraded from OE to Outlook 2003.  Messages & addresses transferred ok
but addresses are a bit of a problem, as follows.
When composing a new mail in Outook and clicking on address icon, message
says "the address list cannot be displayed ......".  On 'ok', a window opens

I installed a few new Sw packages which I did not expect to have any
impact or relation to Outlook.
When I accessed Outlook it wanted to reinstall itself and all my data
had disappeared.

When I want to update or add an email address from an email sent to me, I am
suppose to be able to right click on the address in the From and get an
option to add to my contact list.  This option does not show up for me!  Any
help on this one?

Why do links to Contacts in Tasks, saved emails, Calendar Events, etc become
invalid after an export/import?
