I have a smiliar problem to Gary, I transferred contacts from an old computer
with an older version of Outlook into Outlook XP using the export and import
commands.
I see the contacts but when I go to enter an address an the To field, it

by company from A to Z.  Is there a way to sort them instead of moving them

Currently in the very latest versions of Outlook the PAB or Address search
tool will include the preceding comma into the search parameters when
searching inputs on the To, CC, or BCC lines which prevents what should be
easily looked up name to address associations from occurring ...

Right now, when I want to enter a telephone number, the default country code
is the United Arab Emirates.  How do I change it so that it defaults to the

entry using an out-of-date address despite my having made changes in the

I would like all my contacts to be returned to the orignal format in which
all my comments were shown as full width of the lower part of the CONTACT
Page, rather than on the right hand half of the CONTACT page.
I find the new format much more difficult to read.

How do I make my contact folder teh default address book when I click "TO"
in a new message? right now "Personal Address Book" is the default and it is
empty

Is there a way the customize the reading pane in Outlook 2003 so that I can
choose what contact fields are shown in this reading pane?

A while back, I created a custom form for new contacts that I create
manually (it had a greater emphasis on home details rather than
business details). In the contacts list these are identifiable with a
pin and paper icon.

It’s seems to me that Outlook 2003 SP2 stssync synchronize changes in
SharePoint contact list only if I am located in SharePoint contact folder.
So I can mainly synchronize or wait for 20 min remaining on the WSS contact
folder. And stssync doesn’t work if I working in my Inbox ...

I want to change the look and fields in the Outlook Contacts -Individual
Cards- default view. I want all existing record cards and newly imported data
to have this default view.

My contacts show up in the address book under the GAL, but two of the folders
do not show up under "my contacts".
