The mail merge feature of outlook will not merge. I keep getting the error: office assistant not installed. I have tried several times running setup in maintenance mode and installing the office assistant. Office assistant works fine until I attempt a mail merge. Help?

I just shared my contacts folder with another user, but some of my addresses are missing when viewing from her computer. I gave her "Editor" permission level when sharing the folder. What gives? Would appreciate if someone could give me a clue.
