we're using outlook 2003 and exchange 2003 (hosted) in a very small company.
can you offer advice how to set a shared area for contacts and tasks and
even calendars?

I have a template for labels in Word 2003. When I insert addresses from
Outlook the format of the address is not how it appears to be on the address
cards. Sometimes, the name is 'back to front' - other times, it's correct.

I am using Outlook 2002.  After accidentalyly deleting all my contacts, I
have now re-established a contacts list.  However, when preparing a new email
message and click on the address book to select a name, the name appears in
the "message recipients" column, as it appeared to ...

When I type a name from my contacts it puts it as a business fax instead of
an email address and it won't go through.

My contacts display fine in the contacts folder and the details seem fine
but if I right click on a contact and choose "New message to contact" I
receive the error:
"Error creating new message! This may be caused due to an incorrect email

Why does it appear that this can't be done without some stuffing around and
going via an indirect route.
What was m$ thinking when they restricted this.
Why can you only export to a PST form a public folder?

I use outlook for contacts only.Operating system is windows XP. When I start
the program most times it gets locked up and doesnt respond and I have to
retry till it works.It also is slow in shutting down

I have a number of Distribution lists that have names that are quiet long.
When my users open the address book to view the Global Address book and only
see half the name. Is ther a way to increase the dispay size in Outlook
2000?

I created a separate address book keep separate an email distribution list I
want kept out of my contact list.  I used TOOLS, Email Accts, etc to create
new address book.  then start "file" Import but can't find the address book I
created, contacts is the only address book option ...

How do I set up Outlook so as not to get the auto-formatting of the +1 long
distance code in front of all my telephone numbers? My mobile doesn't require
these and I'm having to take them out of every number I place in my computer.

I have a .pst file that I need to import into Outlook. It asks me for a
password. I didn't purposely pasword protect the file, so I don't know the
password. The file is a backed up file before I reinstalled Windows.

When I select "New" for a New email and begin to type the first letter of a
contact a dropdown list appears...how do I get rid of those unwanted names

I want to copy all of my contacts from my PDA to a new computer.  After
setting the HotSync settings as directed, nothing transferred.  Will I have
to copy all contacts individually?
