I manage a small organization running Exchange 2003 on Server 2003. All
clients are Outlook 2003. There are about 10 users, and almost email is sent
to addresses on the same basic list. Address list were in different states

I have additional fields for my contacts under the user-defined fields, but
when I try to export to excel, they don't show up under the mapping.  How do
I get them on my spreadsheet?

I entered some contact information under CONTACT and realize I need the
functions of the BUSINESS CONTACT category. Is there any way to convert an
existing CONTACT to a BUSINESS CONTACT without having to re-enter all of the
info?

Hi, I'm trying to migrate multiple address books from outlook express into
Outlook.  The import feature of Outlook only brings in the default address
book, and not the other addressbook folders.  Is there anyway to do this
without having to manually move them one at a time?

In Outlook 2000, phone numbers in contacts would automatically insert the
area code and format the phone number in traditional format: (530) 757-2293.  
Outlook 2003 doesn't do this.  How can I set it up?

When i Import the contact list from MS Excel to MS outlook, all my contact
name and addresses dont appear correctly. So i think your application doesnot
support Unicode.
It's a pity!

Outlook 2007 beta does not export notes section of contacts if the notes are
new or changed (the notes section of imported contacts is exported as long as
you do not change it).
I have tried the export to Excel and to Access.

I followed all instructions on Microsoft.com to save my Outlook address book
to a .pab file, but when I went to import it into Outlook Express, the option
"Microsoft Exchange Personal Address Book" is not there for me to import.

I recently had to reinstall Office 2003 and now telephone numbers do not
automatically format in Contacts.  I reme\mber that it has something to do
with my area code but can't remem ber what that is.  Any help?

I have been trying in vain to upload the MS Outlook Contacts on my PC to the
MS Outlook Contacts Folder found via the E-Mail tab on BT Business Connect
Hompage (my ISP).
Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Since installing Windows Vista I find I cannot delete duplicate contacts.

In a more consolidated world, Outlook should also hold photographs more
intuitively and be more visually obvious when looking at address cards.  
Right now, the photograph icon is so small, it seems almost pointless.

Outlook does not read the WinXP Area Code rule, which is set up
correctly. Checked with a friend to compare the Rule, they are
identical, his masking works, however. When I enter a new contact
number -2223333- it does not appear as it used to as (902) 222-3333.

It would be great for Microsoft to include the Plaxo features into Outlook
automatically.  If a friend changes her address, instead of Plaxo letting me
know about it, I wish Outlook would organize it so that I'm not having to
weigh Outlook down with another add-on.  I would love ...

How can I customize the default map for Map Custom Fields when importing a
.csv.  One of fields in .csv is call "parent-guardian".  I have created a
form to display this field in my contact list on screen and when printed but
I can't change the default map to include this field ...
