I'm kind of new to Outlook. I used another email client previously. I have created a personal address book, and I've added some names and addresses in there. However, when I go to send an email, I want to be able to type in the persons name and have it fill in the email address.

In Outlook 2003, there was a choice on the actions menu to link an object to a contact. That seems to be gone. One can choose in tools to show contact info on all forms, but (a) that requires opening the object to make the link and (b) it doesn't work for emails, or works

| Outlook should let me see distribution membership on contact info | 18 Sep 2006 21:36 GMT | 9 |
Outlook 2003 does not allow the user to check if a contact is part of a distribution list without going to the actual group. This feature was part of older Outlook programs and is sorely missed by me, as I handle school and community e-mail services with over 2,500 contacts.
