Perhaps I am missing something but I got new laptop and decided to use
Outlook instead of Outlook Express AND Palm Desktop software. After
combining, I realized that records (contacts, tasks, memos, appts) marked
"Private" are totally visible with a little key! I want them ...

I created 4 or 5 "Contact" folders to see how they work (I am using Outlook
2003). I deleted all but 2 of the contact folders from the "Folder List" in
the left taskbar. However, when I perform a process where it asks me to
choose a contact folder, like to find an email address ...

When I add sender to my contacts by right clicking on email address, it posts
to a secondary contacts list, not my primary contacts.  How do I get it to
point to the correct contact data base.  I posted this message previously but
could not find it so apologize for reposting.

The auto complete isn't suggesting any names? I have the Contact but they are
under Address Book -> Contacts. Auto Complete is on and it is showed as an
E-mail address book.

I am putting together a very informal contact list.
When I enter the name Mary Ellen or Rose Marie or Billy Bob, it
registers in the contact list as Ellen, Mary or Marie, Rose or Bob,
Billy.

How does one restore all the activities associated with my contacts that was
in Outlook 2000 and now I'm using 2003?

I recently uploaded a second contacts database which I am now using as my
primary.  However when I try to add a sender's name from an email by right
clicking on it, it continues to go to my old contact list.  I would like to
add only to my new contact list.

updates to my address book often do not change the pull-down list available
when I want to sent an e-mail message.
I contacted a "Microsoft professional" through your one free query program
but was totally put off: He contacted me with an answert that came nowhere

All my phone numbers in outlook have the prefix +44.
My pda on windows mobile will not dial out with this prefix.
Is there a method of globally removing this prefix from all the records, or
do have to edit them individually?.

I don't understand Dialing Properties>Edit etc. Any helpfile etc available
anywhere?
From UK, I want to prefix 18185 before international, 0845, 0870 and calls
to mobiles; otherwise prefix 1899. And my antivirus tries to block every call

I have a user that has all of his contacts in separate .msg files on disk (he
took these with him from another insitution - did not export as .pst file).  
I am unable to convert them in Outlook or import them into the address book
on his new computer.

I recently upgraded my office suite and my wife had a large amount of task
and activities set up in Outlook 2000 which do not seem to be in 2003.  How
can I restore those activities without her having to redo everything she did?

When I use Outlook to autodial, my US Robotics 56K Voice Fax Modem speaker
activates and dials the number, but I cannot hear anything through the
telephone connected to the modem.  This also happens when I use Cardscan to
autodial.  It does not happen when I use PhoneDial Pro. ...
