I am using Outlook 2003 with Exchange, I have created a Public Contact Folder
which I have added to my Favorites, In the properties I have selected the add
to email list.
When I try and access this folder (merging in Publisher) it is not there,

I'm using OL 2003 SP2.
The view is set to address cards, sort by File As (ascending).  But, the
sort does not work correctly.  Within one company, it will list some of the
names sorted correctly within the first group, then the rest of the names

Need to create a distribution list from the list of addresses listed in the
CC:, To:, or Bcc: field.

I have a list of contacts that I need to type up in Excel and then my boss
eventually wants to put them in his Outlook.  How do I do that.

I am running Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003.  What I am wanting is a simple
way to have a singular point for sharing contacts for all users.  I am
wanting every user to be able to go to the address book and view all of the
company contacts.

I have a problem regarding import from Excel 2003.
I am marking the cells I want to export/import to Outlook. That is working
fine :o)
But when I start up the import sequence in Outlook, the information do not

having exported/imported contacts from Lotus Notes into Outlook via the vcard
format, I lost the "+" for international phone numbers. is there a way in
outlook to add a "+" or "00" to all phone numbers at once?

I have 2 desktops and want one desktop (desktop A) to maintain my address
book. Is it possible to create a shortcut or create a path for Outlook /
Outlook Epxress on the second machine to locate and open the address book on
desktop A via an icon or shortcut? I would appreciate ...

My company was just acquired and my laptop re-imaged.  In the move I
lost the ability to have Outlook contacts automatically format the
phone number field (US only).  Previouly I could enter 1234567890 and
it would automatically convert to (123) 456-7890 on exiting the field.

I have a number of contacts at the same company, which has changed ownership,
and hence name and email domain.  In Outlook 2003, is there any way to do a
global search & replace on the company name and email domain for all of these
contacts?

I have backed up and exported my contacts from Outlook from drive c on my
computer to drive d in my documents but cannot open the new folder in drive
d. It just keeps saying "open with" and offers to select a program from the
web. Please help!

Does anyone know how to change the default Email Type from Ex to SMTP?  I
wanted to make it easier for users to lookup a colleague's email address.  I
know you can open the user card and select the Email Addresses tab to find
this out, but I would prefer it if they could find it ...
