I'm assuming that the "Display As" line in the contacts page that you fill
out is to show that name or nickname in the from line of an incoming email.
For some reason it does not seem to work for all my contacts. Could someone
point me in the right direction.

My wife needs to print X-Mas mailing labels.  She has assigned the proper
Outlook contacts to the Catagory 'Christmas'.  When I do the Word mail merge,
there is no sort column for Catagories.  You can sort by Name, Zip Code, and
even User Field 1, but there is not Catagory column ...

We are running Outlook 2003 on a Windows 2003 terminal server.
Just recently, I have users stating that when entering contacts,
Outlook hangs when entering the phone numbers in any of the fields. If
they just enter other information and press save, the contact saves

When I type in a contact name in the to box and the contact contains a fax
number as well as an email address, the system offers both the email and fax
as ways to fill in the name.  I never use the fax.  Is there some way to stop
Outlook from offering the fax?

When I change an entry in "FILE AS" to be the same as I have under "FULL
NAME" it keeps changing back to a different order. Also is it possible to
copy & past a whole column?

Is there a way to do a mail merge on a contacts folder in the Public
Folders...?

I am attempting to import my work team's entire ACT database into

Outlook 2003 is not allowing me to add any new contacts, edit the ones I have
nor export them to keep from losing them.  Any ideas?  I appreciate any

The address book works fine in other users but the one I use exclusively for
snail mail will not merge or create a label/envelope.

I have an entry in my address book for  Steve Mayer
To send an email to Steve, I used to enter just an S in the TO: field and it
would bring up Steve and his email address.

When I customize the default contact form the form changes its look (no photo
etc.). Why is this?
