I have a new computer and am trying to move my contacts from another computer
to the new one.  I'm trying to determine how to best get my contacts into the
"Contacts" folder without hanging my system.  Whenever I get my contacts into
the Contacts folder Outlook takes over my CPU ...

We are using Outlook Contacts in a sales environment in our sales managers
office.  We have different folders for each sales person, with contact info
for their clients under each.  That makes it easy to move clients around
between territories.

I am trying to export contacts from Outlook Web Access. Is that possible?
I tried circumventing that and exporting to Excel and Word from a Contacts
file in public folders in Outlook just off someone's computer but it needs
the Translator installed (I don't know where the disk is) ...

Bought a new computer and reinstalled Office from scratch.  I copied the old
PST file and my folders and the contacts transferred over without a problem.  
However, when I start a new email and try to add an email address from
Contacts, I get a message saying that the folder can't ...

I would like to share Outlook contacts with another PC (there are only 2 on
the network).  Please explain how I go about this including associated cost.

When I send a message, when I click to to icon to select names from my
address book, it is blank.  The "show names from the:" box is blank, and I
can't choose anything or type anything there.  Please help.

Is there a way to publish my contacts directly to an LDAP server?  or are
Contacts and LDAP contacts separate?
If not, how can I make a copy?

For some contacts I always get the save changes dialog when I try to close
it. Other contacts just close without asking. I don't see a pattern. In
either case I didn't make any changes. All I have to do is open the item and

I know that the Outlook Address Book can be used as a database source for
mail merge in Word & Publisher.
I would expect that Excel would also have access to that address book via

When I want to select some contacts from LDAP, the contacts does not list
anything, and I must type some search keywords and search then appears match
contacts, and the keywords "*" can't list any contacts.
How can I do to list(automaticly) all contacts from LDAP server?

I'm using Outlook 2003 at work, via an exchange server - meaning I have
no access to or control of the settings on the server side.
I have an extensive contacts list, that I use all the time. I have
cleaned all the entries by exporting to a CSV, making sure firstnames
