I have not problem opening contacts in outlook 2003. But when I do a search and the search pulls up the contact, I cannot open it. I get an error telling me it cannot open this item. I did a re-install of outlook and the problem still exists. Can anyone shed some light on

Hi - I have outloook 2003 (I think?!) recently upgraded from 2000. Previously whne sending emails I made use of check names tab. Now there are no suggestions. My 'rules to direct incoming mail have also stopped working. Any ideas?

generally i like to have contacts displayed grouped in categories, sorted by first name. i can go into customize and set this up. occasionally i want to sort the whole folder by first name and then i click on the full name column.
