I deleted a contact folder. However, when I click on the address icon in an
email message To section, Outlook says that the deleted contact folder is
missing. It even displays the folder's name in the drop-down list! How do I
clear the deleted folder name from the address book ...

Okay, this is complicated but when I click on To.. a message comes up: "The
address list could not be displayed"...etc.. and when I click OK it goes away
and the "select names" dialog box appears but without any names until I go to

Outlook 2000 Contacts overwritten by Hotsync with Palm Handheld.  Operation
was set to synchronize but overwrote instead.  Is there an automatic backup
file for Contacts that can be used to restore them?

Can I export a category list so that others in the office can import it?

We're trying to mail out christmas cards. I would like to know if there is a
way I can set up categories within my outlook for Companies, Clients,
Friends. And a way to obtain a list of all addresses in those categories. Am

If a contact's name is changed, the journal notes become unattached, but they
are still in the journal.  How do I reattach them so they show up when I pull

I have copied by connecting my old hdd as secondary to the new hdd
which is primary. After copying the .pst file , when i tried to add in
