I just upgraded to Outlook 2007 from Outlook XP. I used Office XP to search
for items in the contact notes field, but cannot find a way to do it in 2007.
I've indexed my computer, including Outlook. I also can't find any advanced
search functions that cover the notes field. What ...

Having upgraded Office 2000 to 2007 Beta 2, and now using Outlook 2007, am
wondering why address book can not be sorted by last name first?  Also, why
is it not in contact format?

I created some user defined fields in Outlook 2003.  I backed up the data,
but Outlook only backs up the 90 preset fields.  
Where is the user defined field information stored, and how do I back it up,
and then restore it?

I'm using a pst file from OL 2003.  I searched here and it appears they are
the same.  When I view he contacts activities tab, there are no activities
showing.  And there are plenty in tasks, emails, etc.
Also, previous versions of OL, the Activities tab includes a selection of

I was trying to help a friend move from Outlook Express to Outlook.  But an
odd thing - I set up several distribution lists for her, but wasn't getting
the plus + sign that would let me expand the distribution list.  It works
fine on my own PC, so there must be something quirky ...

In Outlook, when creating a distribution list from one's contacts, the
list places the e-mail address under both the name heading and the e-
mail heading (not the person's actual name).

I am trying to email distribution lists to myself from an old laptop to a new
laptop to save having to set them up again and Outlook always puts the
distribution list as an attachment that I can't open when I send it.

I have imported all my contacts and put them into groups. They are all there
when I open the Contacts pane. But when I try to load a contact into the
email To address by pressing 'To'and opening the select contact dialogue it
is empty.

I am using Outlook 2002. When I create a letter or envelope the zipcode is
now located before the city and state.  I have to physically copy the zipcode
to the correct location in the address.  Any suggestions to correct this?
