I used to use Vista's Windows Mail & Windows Contacts to manage my contacts. However, now that I use Outlook 2007, the new contacts that I create/modify don't get updated in the Vista's Sidebar Contacts gadget. Any idea how I can integrate the two together?

I have a new machine with Vista and Outlook 2007. I used the Easy Transfer tool to copy Outlook settings and mail from Outlook 2003 on my old machine. Everything works OK apart from I can't set my contacts folder to act as an address book.

When I get an e-mail, right click on the from and add to contact, how come it will not automatically find that e-mail address when I send a new message and start typing their name or e-mail address. Is there a way to fix this.

some of my contacts within Outlook have a little yellow man icon on them. Some indicate they are active (when I put my cursor on the icon). What is this?? where does it come from? and how do I communicate (IM) with these contacts when they show as 'Available'
