This is paricularly frustrating in light of the large number of
contacts in my folderhaving come from different data sources
(including MSFT CRM, various enterprises in my career, etc).

How do you prevent an automatic insertion of your local area code when
placing a seven digit phone number in the phone section of contacts. Is there

Hi, I have Vista nd Office Outlook 2003. I have tried on line help but
whatever I do I cannot import the contacts (which I successfully imported

I have a rather unique situation here.  My local phone company
recently changed things so that to get a local number you have to dial
"1 + the area code".  This means that all of the numbers in my contact
list in the (310) area need to be edited to have the "+1" added in
importing contacts in outlook05 Mar 2007 18:39 GMT1
When I go through the importing process, the name is messed up.  For example,
if the name is Peace Lutheran School, it will be listed as School, Pease
Lutheran.  I have tried different mapping scenarios, but nothing works.
