When I try to send a fax to an Outlook Contact's fax number by selecting them in the "To:" field of a new e-mail, Outlook keeps prepending their fax number with "+1". This is regardless of whether they are local or not. Any ideas as to how to eliminate this?

Re Outlook 2002 When I start typing a name in the 'to' box a list of names pops up for me to choose from. Trouble is some of those names are irrelevant - people I have responded to in the past but they are not in my contacts list or address

Being slightly behind time I'm still running an old, outdated computer, with Win98 and Office97 installed, updated to Outlook98, including all updates to that Microsoft ever offered. The mode OL98 is running in is "Internet Mail only".

I was using outlook express 2003 contacts but now I have Vista on my new computer and it comes with Windows contacts. How do I import my contacts which is saved in a pdf file to windows contacts which does not except the pdf file. I tried other file ext. but it will not work.

I moved a folder from my INbox up into "My Favorite Folders". I accidently deleted the original folder in my "Inbox" and then a friend of mine "removed" the folder from my "Favorites" Can I recover this folder some how?
