Newbie needs to know how to use autocomplete for names in contacts24 Aug 2007 14:00 GMT1
My new computer is not set to have names automatically appear in the send to
in Outlook 2003 when the name is listed in Contacts...I know there is a
setting somewhere and I know the shortcut to is is ALT K but I cannot find
the setting and I send many emails.

Microsoft have a Help item called "Contacts are missing when I cllick the TO,
Cc, or Bcc buttons" that describes the problem I have butdoes not solve the

I have Outlook 2002 with SP3 installed on Windows XP with SP2 and connected
to Exchange server.
When I tried to add phone no to "Business", and tab to "Home"...etc, it will
response slowly but does not hang up.

Friend sent me contact info via vcard.  When I opened it (it just looked like
an envelope-type attachment), there was no info.
I understand when sending from higher version to lower version (don't like
it, but!) - but why can't I open a vcard sent from Outlook 2003?
