I have used Rules and Alerts very successfully. Recently when I went to edit one of the rules, I clicked on the FROM PEOPLE OR DISTRIBUTION LIST and it does not bring up my Contacts but gives a message that the address file has been moved or deleted. I don't remeber doing ...

| Save contact birthday as anniversary instead of an appointment? | 02 Nov 2007 14:32 GMT | 1 |
Is there anyway in Outlook '07 to get Outlook to save the contacts birthday as an anniversary instead of just an appointment. Why I need this is because when I sync Outlook with my phone (Samsung X820) the birthdays do not come in the phone as re-occurring events. They only exist ...

How do I get the address book to sort on Last Name, which makes sense, instead of by first name, which does not? When I open the address book to choose a recipient, either for email or mail merge, it lists by first name. I have tried removing and shifting fields in Contacts, ...

I have recently installed Enterprise 2007 onto my new Vista PC. I had previously transferred my Outlook 2003 with Contacts. Now in Outlook 2007 all the contacts are visible but when I try to send an email using the contacts email address the email sits in the Outbox and does

| DISTRIBUTION LIST | 01 Nov 2007 21:52 GMT | 3 |
I've created a distribution list with 30 addresses. I've tried sharing it with a colleague by E-mailing it to her by opening the contact (distribution list) and using the command "Action, Transfer". The message is not delivered and I don't receive an "undelivered mail" notice.

| find by domain name | 01 Nov 2007 21:26 GMT | 3 |
Perhaps I'm just being lazy here... I'm looking to send an email to a particular person at a company, but can't remember their name. They are in my address book so I could go look them up. However, if I use the "select names" or the advanced find it doesn't bring them up.

| How do I have Outlook automatically format phone numbers? | 01 Nov 2007 19:15 GMT | 1 |
In prior versions, I could enter ten digits and Outlook would automatically apply the parenthesis around the area code and hyphen on the local phone number. My Outlook has lost this ability, and I can't figure out how to regain it.

| Outlook XP (2002): How do I make address corrections en masse | 01 Nov 2007 11:38 GMT | 1 |
I have one folder of contacts with about 250 entries. When I imported the address information, the street, city, state and zip all imported into the one address field instead of the separate boxes one would get from a manual entry.
