I am using outlook 2003. When I receive an email it displays the wrong name in the "from" field (not what I have in my contacts list). Based on reading some of these postings, I have tried searching for the .NK2 file to clear the cache but search does not find the file anywhere ...

I don't know if my first post went, so I will try again. I have several exchange client that would like to be able to have the outlook contacts list to come up as the default listing when they select the TO button in a new message. Is this possible?

I can no longer view my contact activities. I have set journal options and checked all items for all contacts. I have Outlook 2003 and it used to search automatically and it doesn't seem to do that any more. What's wrong?

In Outlook 2007 when I type teh first character of a person's email address in the To: or Cc: box Outlook offers me a list of those I have used before. How do I edit or turn off this list - it unfortunately contains some old or incorrect email addresses?

Is it possible to save a New Contact file on a contact you do not have an e-mail address for yet? In other words, if you have name, phone, postal address, etc. but do not yet know their e-mail address, Outlook does not seem to store the New Contact information. I don't know ...

When one creates a distribution list, a check box option is given to also add the name and address to the Contacts folder. Once the distribution list is created, however, is it possible to add those names and address to the contact folder? If so, how?
