Change Save Folder for Emailed Contacts08 Jan 2008 12:16 GMT4
When a contact is sent via email, opened and then saved, is there a way to
choose which contact folder (if more than one contact folder exists) to save
the information to? Or, is there a setting that forces Outlook to prompt for
which contact folder to save a new contact to?
Outlook-Contacts to text or excel file needs "STDRET.MSI" file08 Jan 2008 09:11 GMT1
When I want to export Outlook-Contacts to text or excel file, it needs
"Office XP standard" to install something. After I input original Office XP
standard, it still prompt a msg that need that CD and STDRET.MSI file.

I've got Outlook 2007 and I've just moved the data file to my laptop. It

I accidently deleted a distribution list in 2003 Outlook and it is in my
delete folder but when I go to the list and try to save and close the list it
still isn't in my contacts list.

I dragged and dropped a Distribution List from my contacts folder over to the
Mail folder in the Nav. Pane.  I was expecting a new message to pop up
addressed to the the DL, but instead the DL list simply disappeared from my
Contacts folder!  I did the same thing with another DL ...

I have many contacts that may be in multiple distribution lists.
When I learn that a particular contact no longer exists, and needs to be
reomved from the contact list,  merely deleting the contact doesn't remove
that person from any of the distribution lists they may be on.

I am trying to add all my contacts and vendors into my address book, we are

I have searched and can't find an answer to this question.
