i upgraded from office 2000 to office 2003 and i cannot select the order of
the contats when i send the e-mail : contacts appears only in the name,
surname order i do not know how to select the surname, name order without
changing all the 700 contacts !

When I create a new Distribution List, the list shows the E Mail address in
the Name column and the E Mail address column. No names are shown. The Name
and E Mail address are shown in the correct fields in the Contacts folder.

I am having troubles to reomve the "1" and "+" in front of phone numbers in
Contact. The "1" and "+" are casuing problem when I sync Outlook with my cell
phone. How can I disable to auto-formating in that field so I can just get
plain simple 10-digit numbers?

I have a client who has a contact list of around 2800 entries. He has an
older pst file which has around 3500 entries.

When r click on a name in address book and selecting outlook properties at
the bottom Add to: To CC Bcc Contacts appears. When r clik on the name in the
To: field of a new message the same dialog box appears but the only button
next to Add to is Contacts at the bottom. Does ...

I am trying to keep a contact's salutation in Outlook.  How and where can I
do this so that I can use this stored salutation in a mail merge of my
contacts?

I had same problem with "update now" not working with imported Distribution
List when I upgraded to Outlook 2007.
However, if I create a new DL, the "update now" does work even on imported
contacts, which will solve the problem going forward. (Until the next upgrade

I want to add some new fields and get rid of some that I do not use in a
Contact specific list.  I would like them to be immediately available and not
have to look for them in several different places on each card

I need to download contacts from Outlook to my new phone.  I was able to back
them up into Outlook, but now nothing downloads when I activesync.  I can't
