We have Outlook Express 2003 and when we receive an email with a http link to
the internet, it will not open the link.  We think we have ticked all the
right boxes to allow that to happen but to no avail.  We have checked
everything we can possibly think of but nothing will work.

Have just u/g'd from 2003 to 2007 Office.  In 2003 Contacts, the Business
Cards view showed all street address, phone numbers and email address info.  
In 2007 Contacts, some cards are complete in all respects whilst others show
phone and email addresses but no street address info ...

In outlook 2000 contacts you could right click on a contact & bring up the
option for "new appointment with contact"
This would also give you info on the contact in the "contact" field at the
bottom left of the calendar box which you could left click to highlight then

In the contact folder, the listing format is Last Name, First Name, but when
I do a new email and click "TO" the listing format is First Name Last Name.
I did the change "Sort the Contacts list by the File As field" like said

I was trying ot set up a new profile, but when I go back to my old profile
the contact db listing shows up as blank when I am composing an email.
However, the db is still there if I launch it directly. So the link is  
somehow gone. How do I relink the contact db so ti shows up ...
