I want to send an email to a group on a distribution list, but want to keep
the individuals email addresses private so that others cannot identify the
address properties

Hello, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to using MSO 2003, please
forgive me if my questions seem rather naive.

I want to add a field that will appear on the GENERAL screen for ALL current
and new contact records.
How do I do this?

Outlook 2007 comes pre-set with a Rule to remove Categories from all
incoming emails. Why?
I find it cumbersome to have to assign Categories to new incoming emails.
Does the Catagory assignment show to the recipient on outgoing emails?

Somehow, I have two "contact" files... one has date, the default one does
not... in other words, if I try "carolsm" in the email address line, it
should find carolsmith@exhibitimaging.com... but it doesn't.  it asks me to
find the address and when I use the drop down list is ...

Ihad had to move my pst file and run scanpst which may have contributed to
this.
The problem is when I click on a contact the email address goes away while
it is visible when i see a listing of all e-mail addresses.

Since switching from OUtlook express to OUtlook I am no longer able to simply
change an e-mail address in the address book and have that change carried
automatically through to whatever distribution list that address is part of.  
Outlook express did this.  Any idea how to get ...

I'm using Outlook 2007 w/ XP.
Until today, if I typed in a name in the "search contacts' window of
Contacts, it found the names fine.  But a new entry I put in contacts
yesterday is in the contacts file, but the search function can't find it.

I recently upgraded my office computers and now have Outlook 2007. I cannot
get the "Activities" tab to work properly on either machine. When I pull up a

Hi. I recently imported contacts into Outlook 2007 from Excel. The
information seems to have imported correctly. The only problem is that the
full name is shown backwards. e.g. Smith Bob (no comma). When I click on the
full name dialog box, the last name is in the correct place ...

i'm running Vista with office 2007.   i've created a distribution list in the
address book with six recipients that are in my Contacts.  when i click Send
I get "an internal support function returned an error".   Please help.

I want to up-grade from Outlook Student Teacher edition to Pro but I am
concerned
that I might loose my contacts database.
Any suggestions?

Outlook "encounters a problem" and crashes whenever I try to add a phone
number to a contact.  It does the same when I go to the Customize menu.  I've
uninstalled and reinstalled my Office XP, and made sure I have all the right
updates.  The problem persists.  Any ideas?
