I normally fax using Outlook 2000, but for some reason
now I am not able to send or receive any faxes and it
seems that it is configured correctly.

I am able to send and receive faxes, however, the quality of my
received faxes is not good.  Some lines of text are sometimes
"squished" together without proper spacing and become unreadable.  Not
all lines in the fax are of this nature.  Some are just fine.

I went to Help in Outlook 2000 to try and find out how to set up the fax in
Outlook and it said to go to Tools/Options and click on the Fax tab. I see
no Fax tab there.

How come, it seems to have just happened tonite, before that I was
fine,  anyway, every time I try to do anyting in Outlook Express, it

I am using the MS Fax component of Win2000 to send and receive faxes.
It works ok, and I know where the received and sent faxes are kept.
However, only one fax is kept;  when a new one is received, the
previous one is deleted.

I am having problems with mapi sending faxes with Outlook 2000 sp3, xp and
2003. Early version are ok. I am getting to a point where I think it may be
a security issue. Sending a normal fax is ok, but if I attach a *.tif file
it comes up undeliverable with the message
