Is it possible to create a rule whereby Microsoft fax will not take a fax phone call from a sender who does not include a "TSID"? This would eliminate dozens of Fax spam!

I purchased a Fax Modem and while installing I read that it must be connected to an analog phone line or else could cause modem failure. My plan was to to piggy back off of a dedicated fax line by using a RJ45 line

Windows XP, Office 2002 SP3. I have been using the fax console for about a year now. From time to time the "mail to" button becomes grayed out and I am unable to email the faxes to my outlook.

I have a Digi Acceleport RAS 8 (8 modem) card. I'm wondering if MS Fax is compatible with multi-modem cards, or if there is a limit to the number of fax modems that MS Fax can address. Thanks for your help,

I have windows 2000 and exchange 2000 and use Outlook xp. I cannot figure out how to configure my Xerox copier to access the ldap server so that the copier can send a fax or scan and send email to Outlook contacts. The copier can send emails, but I have to manually type the email ...

just found this newsgroup, sorry for the cross-post. here's my plight, bear with me on the long post. my wife has a dedictaed phone line with a HP all in one fax machine hooked up. she receives many faxes, but not all of them always need to be printed.

I have an HP D135 Multifunction machine. Is there a way to utilize that machine in MS Outlook to send faxes, or do I have to send everything through the modem? Currently, if I want to send faxes through my PC, I have to use the HP software, or "Print" to the HP Fax component.

I would really like to be able to route my faxes to my Outlook 2000 Inbox. Does anyone know if I can remove my XP Fax and add Win2K Fax using the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel? Will the fax service work and will I be able to route faxes to Outlook 2000?

We are in Queensland Australia. In Outlook when we type a fax number it is automatically formatted for you and prefixed with the area code (07)nnnn-nnnn. We can dial this number manually with the zero in front.
