Does anyone know how to form a mailto: link in a web page to make it launch Outlook and attach a file? I want to extend SharePoint to allow emailing directly from a document library but I can't seem to figure out how to get the link right to cause Outlook to attach a file.

I have a process set up to monitor the Outlook.newMail event. This seems to be working great. The problem I have is when this event is fired how do I know how many e-mails I just received.
