I have use Visual Studio 6.0 to write VBA to access outlook, it works in Outlook 2000, but Outlook 2003 will prompt this message. How to prevent this caution from appearing?

I have discoverd that with my outlook 2000 installation, I both have Outlook 9.0 object library and Outlook 10.0 object library - which one should I use to compile an Outlook addin, that will work on both Outlook 2000, 2002, and 2003 -

When an e-mail is recieved by Outlook there is an indicator flag that is added to the Systray bar that says there is newly recieved unread mail. I can mark that particular e-mail in Outlook as read so it doesn't show up in Bold as Unread. But how do I go about getting rid of that ...
