Express has WAB but not Outlook?21 Aug 2003 00:18 GMT1
I was working at a client and we wanted to share the address book by
putting it in a briefcase. Outlook Express has a WAB file,
but where is Outlook's? It seems not to exist.

I have set up a new e-mail account on Outlook.  I have
entered the correct POP3 and SMTP server names, and all
tests check out.  My question is this, why can I send
mail to anyone, but cannot receive mail from anyone?  All

After installing Microsoft Office XP Small business, I

I just had MS Outlook 2000 installed at a store.  When I
got home and turned on the computer, they identfied the
software licensed to/belonging to the wrong person.  Can I
change the info without reinstalling the software?

I've installed a lot of e-mail profiles both with Exchange
servers and without but I've never seen this type of
installation problem.
The PC that I'm working on had MS Office Pro set up on it

I did a new installation of windows XP. I saved my .dbx
folders on a CD. But I can't put them back in outlook...
They are safe on the CD, I can read the files with
MAILNAVIGATOR, but I can't tranfer the files.

I have quite a few users that user Microsoft Outlook to
access mail on our server from their home.
I make a host entry with the Serve name and approriate IP
address in the Host file.

I use a laptop with outlook xp on an exchange server at
my office.  the exchange server crashed due to a hard
drive failure...all data lost.

If I have 4 people connected to a hub, is it possible to
send the other users on it email with out having an
exchange server? If so, how would that be setup. Thanks.

I am totally confused. My company uses Exchange server and
when I'm connected to my LAN at work, I've set up sub-
folders under the Inbox and have filed my emails there.
However, from home, I cannot hook up to exchanges server,

I've successfully implemented RPC over HTTP internally
and would now like to expand to allow access outside the
firewall.  
Currently in place:  1 ES03 BE Server, 1 ES03 FE Server
