On a toshiba laptop, with a fresh install of XP Home, I have tried 3 times to install small buis with outlook 2000. It will not open .PST files from other machine.  When I look at the .PST file it has no icon associated with it.  A look in file extensions and there is no .pst or  ...

there is a error code when i install outlook 2002:
1322: path of folder is too long(something like that,not
sure...)

I donwloaded office 2000, and when I opened outlook, I
received an OLE registration error.  After removing the
program, and reloading by Cd, it stills comes up.
Any ideas on what to do next?

Last phase of installation I get pop up saying, "outlook
has caused an error in OM19.DLL out look will now close".
This is followed by another saying, "cannot start MS

I installed IE 6, with OE, but some of the OE data folders
got clobbered.  When I tried to re-install either OE by
itself or IE 6 (the whole thing), it went into a loop

I purchases Outlook 2002 as a standalone application. I
installed it on my office desktop and my home desktop
which are computers only I use and never at the same time.
I have now replaced both desktops with notebooks.

I tried uninstalling it and it came back the same.
