My outlook loads ok, but as soon as outlook connects to my mail server, an
hour glass comes up and a few seconds later outlook crashes.  All else
continues working fine and I can restart outlook and it does the same thing.

Can anyone tell me why when my boss receives a Rich Format Text formatted mail, Outlook tries to install MS Project??

  For the same account in same server(POP3 for receiving, SMTP for sending), its account works fine in OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6.
