My server is an SSL server. I set up all the things I was supposed to incoming mail requires ssl checked port 995. outgoing mail requires ssl checked port 465. Both incoming and outgoing require logon checked. Use same as incoming logon checked.

I'm trying to set up Outlook to check my hotmail account, but I'm having a problem. When I go to add an account the pull down menu is missing the HTTP choice. All that's in there is POP3 and IMAP. Everything I've read says that HTTP is supposed to be there... is that right? ...

I just installed Office 2003 and, using its Help menu, was able to recover all my newsgroup servers and the specifc newsgroups I had subscribed to -- looks great. In the process, I also got a bunch of local folders where I had saved stuff

Is it necessary to remove Outlook 2000 when installing Office 2003 with the new Outlook or will the new installation overwrite 2000 automaticaly? If I need to remove 2000 how is that done - not listed in Add/Remove
