IT did a "Detect and Repair" in Word, now when I open my Outlook, everything
is gone!  Can I get the data back?

I email a .dat file as an attachment. The recipient can only download what I
send if it is in a data format.  The data keeps getting reformatted to a text
file when I send it.  What do I do to enable the data file to remain in a
data format when the recipient recieves it?

We are currently blocking Stationary Fonts in Outlook in Group Policy;
however, people can still go into a new email and go into
Tools>Options>E-Mail Options and select the Personal Stationery tab and
select Theme which is not greyed out.  People in our company have found this

whilst trying to apply the latest spam-filter update for Outlook 2003 I came
across a fatal installation error, which could not be solved with the Office
build-in repair feature and hence looking for some here. An extract of the
log reads as follows:
Outlook 2003 hangs on Migrating Settings07 Oct 2004 19:09 GMT1
Upgraded a user from Outlook 2000 (pop3) to Outlook 2003 (w/ POP3 and
Exchange).  Client now hangs on "Migrating Account Settings" during
initial startup of Outlook aftre the upgrade.  Any ideas???  Won't go
into safe mode, ran detect and repair, rename several .dat files, etc.

I had a trial version of Office 2003 and bought a volume lisence version of
Office XP. I unintalled Office 2003 and installed Office XP. Everything else
seems to work fine except Outlook.
When I try to open Outlook, it first says that it is:

Installed outlook as part of a new server 2003 installation and even though
outlook 2003 tests fine (both pop3 ans smtp settings), I cannot send or
receive any emails. Is there a setting in outlook or server 2003 I am missing?

I'm using profgen and .prf's to create mail profiles on a XP Workstation
based network
But I need to configure options like Inbox, calendar, etc sync to off line
folders for the mobile laptops, etc as default

We've got 2 Exchange server . I moved 5 users Mailbox from server A toward
server B
Each time these 5 users launch Outlook, a displaying message inform that the
sever are in synchronisation state. And This synchrisation must be done each
