Outlook is very slow after I upgraded to 2003?16 Dec 2004 18:40 GMT1
I upgraded to Outlook 2003 and now it operates very slowly.  In particular,
it takes forever to pull up a contact when I type in a name for it to search
for.  Also takes awhile to switch from one thing to another like calendar to
e-mail.  I have tried all the "troubleshooting" ...

actual e-mails in outllok 2000 and outlook 2003 (if its different) plus where
these things are in XP.

When I start Outlook 2003 it asks for actext.dll file.  I also run ACT! 6.0
and have just upgraded to Office 2003.  Where can I find this file which I
assume is a file that enables the two programs to work together in some way.

So I have made a slight boo boo.  I have just made an image that included a
Office 2003 pro instalation.  I loaded XP SP2 and the Office SP1.  I have
distributed the image and joined these machines to the domain, so going back
and redoing the image or unistalling and reinstalling ...

Im trying to configure a new outlook acount.  
1) select a Add a new mail acount
2) Micrisoft Exchange Server
3) write de exchange server name

Outlook 2003 - default .pst file was bypassed and Outlook created a file
called Outlook.pst and sent incoming mail there. After disk defragmentation
the problem rectified itself. How do I access the mail in Outlook.pst. File

I have a user that Outlook won't send or receive. I have the options set to
check for mail every minute. I can see, down in the lower right hand corner

I am new to Outlook and am trying to set it up to retrieve my email from Juno
on the web (webmail.juno.com).  Can someone help me out with this?  So far,

I just set up a new email account/domain with a web based server, namely
godaddy.com. It is configured correctly and I can receive email but I cannot
send. After talking with their tech support and double checking everything

I can send messages but not receive. when i click send/receive button it
continuously prompts me for my password. i've made sure my password is
correct under the tools/e-mail accounts menu.
